How to wash period underwear?

Period panties last between 2 to 5 years but it is important to following proper care routines, so you can wear them for a long time.

Wash them before first use.

After wearing your panties
  • Rinse – Rinse them in cold water to wash out the blood.
  • Wash – wash your period underwear by hand or in the washing machine with a mild detergent on a delicate setting.
  • Dry – hang them to dry.

Don’t use fabric softener or bleach on your period underwear, as it can compromise the integrity of the fabric.

Don`t use a tumble dryer!

How long does it take to dry?

They can take a little longer than traditional underwear to dry. This is because of the multiple layers used to make the underwear.

Tip! You can roll your underwear tightly in a towel to get them to dry faster!

Do I need to sanitize them?

No, as long as you are washing them there is no need to sanitize them.
